Alleged Forger 'Gracious Enough to Leave Driver's License Behind' at Bank
Judge issues $25,000 arrest warrant for Oak Lawn man accused of trying to cash a fraudulent check.

Police are looking for an Oak Lawn man who they claim tried to cash a fraudulent check at an area bank.
According to the complaint, Timothy Brown, who is believed to be in his fifties, tendered a check at Marquette Bank, at 10415 S. Cicero Ave., on Jan. 25.
Police said a bank employee, believing the check to be suspicious, showed the check to her supervisor.

Brown left the bank but was “gracious enough to leave his driver’s license behind” for the purpose of identification, the complaint alleged.
The check allegedly made payable to Brown in the amount of $1,425.10.

An arrest warrant was issued for $25,000.
