• 'Suspicious Person' Found In Possession Of Burglary Tools, Live Ammo: Police (patch.com) — Oak Lawn police say a Chicago man was arrested after residents reported two suspicious people moving through garages and backyards near 105th Street and Kedvale Avenue and surrounding blocks. Officers used drones, K-9 units, and Smart911 alerts before detaining the suspect, who was allegedly linked to a backpack containing burglary tools and live ammunition. Police are still investigating a second person of interest and urging Oak Lawn residents to sign up for Smart911 and Connect Oak Lawn.
