BURBANK, IL—A Burbank family is desperate for information about their 14-year-old daughter, who has been missing since June 7.
Patricia Perez, who goes by “PJ,” was last seen at her home near Mason Avenue and 79th Street in Burbank. She was at home on her iPad around 11:30 p.m. Later, around 3 a.m. her mother noticed she was gone.
PJ is 4-feet-11-inches tall, weighs 90 pounds, and has blue-gray eyes and ash blonde hair.
“Every day that passes matters,” said advocate Teresa Ponickiof of the BCA Hub Youth Center in Willowbrook. “Please, even if you don’t know this family personally, take just a few seconds to share this post. You never know whose feed it will reach.”
Since PJ vanished, there have been no confirmed sightings or updates regarding PJ’s whereabouts. Residents are asked to share the official flyer on social media, keep PJ’s story visible, and contact police immediately with any information, no matter how small it may seem.
The Perez family says each passing day increases their fear and frustration.
“We simply want every available resource dedicated to bringing PJ home safely,” said members of the family’s support network. “No family should have to wonder whether enough is being done when a child is missing.”
For those of you hitting the road for the Fourth of July holiday, please consider running off PJ's flier and leaving it at truck stops and rest areas.
If you have any information about PJ’s whereabouts, contact the Burbank Police Department at 708-924-7300 or the tip line at 708-793-3388. Reference case # 26-01706.
