OAK LAWN, IL—School bells are ringing in a new academic year, and back-to-school planning has already begun at Dist. 229 Oak Lawn Community High School, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the 2026-2027 school year.
Freshmen and new students return to OLCHS Aug. 14, with all grades reporting Aug. 17 for the first day of school.

Here's a look at some dates to know for the 2025-2026 school year:
