Get Down And Funky With Funk’d Up Sunday For A Free Summer Concert On The Oak Lawn Village Green

OAK LAWN, IL—Time to get down and funky with Funk'd Up as Oak Lawn's summer concert series continues Sunday, Aug. 16. The music goes from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on the Village Green, 9446 S. Raymond Ave., east of village hall.

Funk'd Up brings back the classic funk and disco hits with a full-on throwback dance-floor experience with a modern edge, from Chic and the Bee Gees to James Brown and EWF. So get out the polyester and dancing shoes.

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, snacks, beverages, and maybe some plastic to sit on. Concessions will be for sale. The restroom in the lobby at village hall is open for concertgoers' comfort and convenience. Portable bathroom facilities are also available. Don't forget the mosquito repellent.
