Bridgeview Man Who Exposed Himself To Woman In Business Faces Misdemeanor: Police

CHICAGO RIDGE, IL—A Bridgeview man is accused of following a woman around a Chicago Ridge business while masturbating, police said. Fares Hijazi, 20, is charged with a misdemeanor public indecency/lewd exposure.

Around 9:18 p.m. Aug. 9. Chicago Ridge police officers were dispatched to a business in the 10100 block of South Harlem Avenue for a public indecency report.

Upon arrival, the woman alleged that a man, later identified as Hijazi, was masturbating while following her in the business. Police said the woman confronted Hiazi, who left the store before officers arrived.

Hiazi was taken into custody, Aug. 12 following an investigation by Chicago Ridge detectives and charged with a misdemeanor. He's due in court Sept. 9 at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
