OAK LAWN, IL—This fall freshmen won't be the only ones navigating their first year of high school. Oak Lawn Community High School welcomed 17 new members to its staff for the 2026-27 school year.
New staff members include English, science, social science and special education, as well as psychology, social work, technology, music, administration, student support, and permanent substitute teachers.
Richard Kurek will fill the role of English, Social Science and Media Services Division Chair, and Victoria Schwarz has joined OLCHS as a special education director.
Hannah Isenmann will teach science, while Robert Neylon and Danielle Nicosia serve special education teachers. Joeal Ammar and Leilani Guzman have been hired as instructional assistants. Noe Gallegos is a social science teacher, and Kelly Grba is a music teacher. Luke Sakal is an English teacher.
Natasha Wadhwa will serve as the school psychologist, and Tasneem Hamed joins the counseling department as a social worker. DeBorah Pusateri will serve as a technology specialist.
Jacob Abeja joins as the Achieve teacher, and Maralee Ramos Reyes has been hired as the 10-month departmental secretary in the Dean's Office. Abigail Edwards, Ahmad Jarad, and Jannah Mahmoud serve as full-time substitutes.
Together, these professionals play an important role in creating a school environment where students can learn, grow, and feel supported.
