• Oak Lawn Children's Museum's Traveling 9-11 WTC Beams Head To NY For 25th Anniversary (patch.com) — Oak Lawn's Children's Museum is sending its traveling World Trade Center steel beam exhibit from the village's 9-11 memorial to Rochester, New York, for stair-climb tributes marking the 25th anniversary of the attacks. Longtime Oak Lawn resident and museum board member Bill Egan is again driving the beams, which originated from the Oak Lawn-Patriot Metra Station memorial and can be booked by other communities through the museum.
