‘Arizona Cardinals Fan’ Suspect in Oak Lawn Bank Robbery: FBI

A man wearing an Arizona Cardinals hat is believed to have robbed the TCF bank branch in Oak Lawn, FBI says.

OAK LAWN, IL -- A man wearing an Arizona Cardinals cap is a suspect in a bank robbery that happened Friday afternoon in Oak Lawn, the FBI said. The heist is being described by the feds as a “non-takeover” robbery. Although know weapon was apparently shown, the FBI said the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

The FBI said that the purported bandit entered the TCF bank branch, 10350 S. Pulaski Road, Oak Lawn, around 12:52 p.m. Friday. He is described as an African American male in his 40s, around 5-feet-10-inches tall. Bank security images show him wearing sunglasses, a red sweatshirt and an Arizona Cardinals cap.

Anyone with information regarding this bank robbery should contact the FBI’s Chicago Field Office at 312-421-6700. Tips can also be submitted at tips.bfi.gov. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the alleged robber’s arrest.
