Arrest Warrant Issued for Alleged Chicken Wing Thief
Restaurant employee concealed 280 pounds of chicken wings in a garbage can, Chicago Ridge detective said.

Chicago Ridge police were in court requesting an arrest warrant for a restaurant employee accused of swiping 280 pounds of chicken wings.
According to the charges, Andrew Boone, 28, was employed at Buffalo Wild Wings, 111 Chicago Ridge Mall, on June 14. The detective testified in court that Boone was captured on security video concealing seven cases of chicken wings inside a garbage can and removing them from the restaurant.

The detective said the cases weighed about 40 pounds each and were valued at $524.
Boone said he was willing to cooperate with police, but he hasn’t been found since.

The prosecutor told the judge that Boone is currently on parole from the Lawrence Correctional Center.
Cook County Judge Peter Felice set the arrest warrant at $20,000.
