JUSTICE, IL -- A warrant was issued for a Worth man who allegedly escaped from police after he was arrested for criminal trespassing. Lyons is on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections where he had been serving a three-year sentence for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

According to Justice police, Lyons had been banned from the Willow Hill apartment complex. The management office reported that Lyons had been on the premises Sept. 1 in the 8700 block of South 87th Terrace. A few days later on Sept. 7, officers said they spotted Lyons at the corner of 86th and 88th streets. Lyons allegedly pushed the cops away and took off running.

Lyons was arrested a short time later, police said. He was taken to LaGrange Adventist Hospital and left there after complaining of shortness of breath. The hospital later called police to say that Lyons allegedly escaped.
