Aspiring 'Jackass' Found Guilty in New Year's Day 7-11 Trashing
This guy thinks videos of felonious vandalism will make him world famous.

So you want to be a jackass? Well, you’re off to a good start. A south suburban rapper and video prankster who thinks he’s mimicking “Jackass” star Johnny Knoxville will spend some time in jail for ransacking a Chicago 7-11 on New Year’s Day.
The Alsip native calls himself VonMar, and he posted his 7-11 escapade on Facebook. That video and similar clips on YouTube and Vine have garnered him millions of views among aficionados of rank idiocy.
VonMar, aka 24-year-old Delvon Lamar Irving, and an accomplice walked into a 7-11 at 45. E. Chicago Ave. and then “fell” into a rack of snack foods. Irving records the scene, and then joins in, jumping on the snack rack and screaming. Irving also tries to go into the cash register and mocks the clerk as police are called.

He then runs out of the store with a coffee urn and drops it on the sidewalk.
On the video, he’s heard to say “Put em in a coffin” several times.

NOTE: profanity can also be heard in this video.
After posting the video of his 7-11 trashing to Facebook on Jan. 2, Irving wrote this, likening himself to the “Jackass” crew who found fame on MTV 15 years ago: “They were doin the Same EXACT THINGS im doin UNTIL THEY GOT FOUND n Started GETTIN $$$$. Guess WHAT?? im on my WAY.”
Indeed, the aspiring jackass was on his way ... straight to a jail cell seven days later after police tracked him down and arrested him. The task wasn’t difficult — he posted all the evidence on social media.
Irving has been a guest of the Cook County jail ever since.
Charged with felony theft, Irving tried to raise $25,000 in bail money with an online GoFundMe account, according to a DNAinfo Chicago report, but the fundraising website shut him down. About $190 was pledged.
On Wednesday, Judge Lawrence Flood, unimpressed with Irving’s imagined celebrity, put him in a jail cell a bit longer, sentencing him to 60 days behind bars, with credit for time served, and two years probation after accepting his guilty plea. He also must pay $1,000 in restitution.
No word yet on whether anyone has offered him a TV show.
