Ba, Da, Ba, Ba, Ba! Shamrock Shake Season Is Back
McDonald's restaurants will donate 25 cents from each fan-favorite shake sold through March 17 to the local Ronald McDonald House.

OAK LAWN, IL – Ba, da, ba, ba, ba! Shamrock Shake season is back! Beginning Feb. 17, local McDonald’s owner/operators will donate 25 cents from each fan-favorite shake sold through March 17 to local Ronald McDonald House chapter. Funds will support families with children who are ill or injured, including the Ronald McDonald House near Advocate Children’s Hopsital in Oak Lawn.
Over the past four years, McDonald’s restaurants across Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana raised a combined $216,000 for their local Ronald McDonald House chapter during the annual Shamrock Shake fundraiser. In 2025, Shamrock Shake purchases helped provide 2,700 nights of lodging, meals and transportation for families during some of their most challenging times.
"Shamrock Shake season is an exciting time in our restaurants," local McDonald's Owner/Operator Nick Karavites said in a news release. "Not only do our customers love the treat, but it's a simple way for us all to show our continued commitment and support to our local Ronald McDonald House and the families it serves."
