From Basketball To Boys Track, Robert Wagner Jumps On Leaderboard
Oak Lawn Community High School's Robert Wagner jumps on the state leaderboard in long and high jump, and 4X160 relay at Argo meet.

OAK LAWN, IL — After recently finishing up his season on the basketball court for Oak Lawn Community High School, junior Robert Wagner joined up with his boys track and field teammates. He jumped right into the action and made his presence felt. He immediately vaulted himself among the elite.
At the Argo quad meet, Wagner posted a long jump of 21 feet, 4.5 inches and a high jump of 6-5. Both of these accomplishments landed him on the leaderboard in the state of Illinois. Then, he ran the anchor leg of the 4x160-meter relay and clocked his fastest time of the season in the event.
“Robert is looking forward to the rest of his season and is ready to hopefully take on Illinois High School Association competition this May at Eastern Illinois University,” said head coach John Jensen.
