The Oak Lawn Park District’s Beach Blizzard event on Sunday, August 30th will have you enjoying some fun in the water and snow at Central Park Pool, 9400 S. Kenton Ave., from 12:00-3:00pm. A DJ will play tunes while participants play on the snow hill outside of Central Pool. Activities include a hula-hoop contest and water balloons.
Participants will then head over to the Ice Arena, 9320 S. Kenton Ave., for Open Skate from 3:00-5:00pm. Bring mittens and a bathing suit.
The fee is $7 for all activities including open swim admission. The rain site is the Ice Arena from 3:00-5:00pm.
