Beauty Supply Employee Fires Gun At Fleeing Shoplifters: Police
The three women were filling baskets with human hair and other items at an Oak Lawn beauty supply store, police said.

OAK LAWN, IL — An employee of a beauty supply store discharged a gun at three fleeing shoplifters late Monday afternoon, Oak Lawn police said. All three suspects are in custody.
Around 5:30 p.m., police were called to the Beauty Supply store at 87th Street and Cicero Avenue, which was open for business. Three women entered the store and were filling baskets with human hair and other merchandise. When the women left the store an employee followed them outside and fired a gun. There were no injuries.
Charges are pending. Tensions are already high after nationwide demonstrations sparked by George Floyd's death.
