Bicyclist Dies In Crash Involving Burbank Police Vehicle
Police release statement that a bicyclist died as a result of a traffic crash Monday morning involving a Burbank police vehicle.
BURBANK, IL — Burbank police are releasing few details about a fatal traffic crash that occurred Monday, involving a police vehicle and a bicyclist.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of 77th Street and Central Avenue, when a person riding a bicycle was apparently hit by a Burbank police vehicle, police said in a statement.
Police sent out a tweet Monday morning, advising motorists to avoid the intersection due to an ongoing traffic investigation.

As a result of the accident, the bicyclist died. Burbank police could not immediately be reached for more information.
