Bow Ties and Big Hats Theme of St. Gerald's Annual Dinner Dance

Enjoy "A Night At The Races" at St. Gerald's Derby-themed dinner dance on Feb. 3, featuring dinner, beer, wine, music and a lot of fun.

OAK LAWN, IL -- Bow ties and big hats will be the dress code for the 2018 St. Gerald Parish Dinner Dance on Saturday, Feb. 3, from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m., in the Jonathan Collins Activity Center. The Derby race-themed night features a family-style dinner served by Barraco’s beer and wine, and fantastic entertainment provided by the wildly popular Outcast Jazz Band.

“A Night at The Races” is the largest fundraiser of the year. St. Gerald students directly benefit by this fundraiser in areas of technological improvements and advancements, keeping up to date fitness equipment, staying safe with necessary building updates and maintenance and accessing newly developed educational tools. The commitment is to provide the best possible Catholic School experience for students and staff.

Wear your best derby attire, sip bourbon and relax with a mint julep. Guests can try their luck at the race track games, raffles, silent auctions or liquor pull. There is also a “best hat contest” for the ladies. Win gift cards, a 49-inch smart TV or a six-night stay in Orlando, FL, in a luxurious Wyndham Resort. Every $50 ticket ordered before Jan. 31 automatically enters guests in a raffle for a $75 liquor basket. All proceeds support St. Gerald school, students, staff and the enrichment of St. Gerald Catholic School education.
