4th of July Parade(s) Double Header - Oak Lawn and Palos Heights
Walk with Rich Grabowski for U.S. Congress 3rd District in the Oak Lawn and Palos Heights 4th of July parades ...

Two major parades are happening in our near southwest suburban area on Wednesday morning, July 4th. Come on out and walk with Richard L. Grabowski, Republican Nominee for U.S. Congress in the 3rd District, in the Oak Lawn 4th of July parade at 10AM, and the Palos Heights Independence Day parade at 12 Noon.
Oak Lawn - lineup at 9:30 AM in the 9300 block of 51st Avenue near Southwest Hwy - position # 74A – step off at 10:00 AM sharp.
One major note that residents should know: Oak Lawn declined our parade application at first, and informed all local candidates up for election in November 2012 that they weren't allowing candidates in their parade, only incumbents. In our near southwest suburban area, for those who don't know, all Congressional, Senate and State Representative incumbents are Democrats, which would mean that all local Republicans who are running against them would effectively be excluded from the parade - - but after one afternoon long fight for reconsideration, we were placed in it - all other Republican candidates were declined, and none others were contacted and offered a reconsideration.

Let's turnout a large gathering of walkers at #74A to show Oak Lawn that the other party, Republicans, do matter here. We're near the end of the parade, but we're in it!!! Right near our friends from Patch Oak Lawn. Thank you for the opportunity to meet and greet with the great residents of Oak Lawn on their equal time!
The second parade is in Palos Heights - lineup at 11:00 AM in the West lanes of Harlem Ave, near 127th by Harris Bank, position # 7 – step off is at 12:00 Noon.

* We may not be done with the Oak Lawn parade in time since we've been placed near the end, so we will need people who can line up at 11:00 AM ready for the Palos Heights parade stepoff at 12:00 Noon. Ted Hollander will be there to gather walkers, hold the spot and walk the parade in case we don't arrive in time.
We will have Red, White and Blue t-shirts for walkers.
We're looking for people to walk with us - banner and sign carriers,
smiling wavers, candy throwers, and literature passers.
I hope to see you there. Thanks again for all your help, support and participation, and have a HAPPY AND SAFE 4th OF JULY!!!
