Last September 19th. I was away on business. My phone rang early in the day. My brothers fiance called to tell me my brother had died. I immediately got a plane home and went to his house. My wife and family were there waiting for me. I sat down and cried. What do I do know? That was the biggest question on my mind!
I am in the funeral business, yet I had the same feeling that anyone else would have. The feeling of being lost and not knowing what to do came over me. Not to mention the grieving that is going on.
After I composed myself, I realized that my brother and I had spoken about what he would want in the event that he died. All arrangements were made and while I miss him dearly, I know I did what he wanted.
