Many thanks to the more than 600 runners and walkers who helped make our second annual Running with the Bulldogs a great success.
It was a beautiful Sunday morning at Richards High School. People came for many reasons, including the support of a wonderful charity. All proceeds -- last year, with a similar number of participants, we raised nearly $11,0000 -- support the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation.
This charity provides new toys, gifts, and gift cards to children and teenagers in treatment for cancer. Advocate Hope Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn is one of many hospitals throughout the country to receive support from POTCF.
We hope you enjoy the video. At one point, just prior to the medals ceremony, the right music blended with the spirit of the day and, voila, dance party.
