The U.S. Navy JROTC program from Richards High School recently participated in the annual marksmanship and sports contest with the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force programs from Eisenhower and Shepard.
Supervised by JROTC instructors, the event always proves a highlight of the year.
Students competed in target shooting from prone, kneeling, and standing positions. Sports (JROTC fulfills the district physical education requirement) included tug-of-war, volleyball, and a variety of strength and conditioning events.
