Burglars Strike 2 Condos, Steal Coins: Palos Hills Blotter

PALOS HILLS, IL — Burglars hit two condos on March 10 in the 11000 block of Theresa Circle in Palos Hills, reports said.

Residents told Palos Hills officers that they left their home around 11 a.m. When they came back around 2 p.m. the front door had been pried open. Police said the unit had been rummaged through, but nothing appeared to be taken.

Another resident told police they left their home in the morning. When they returned home later in the day, they noticed that their front door was pried open. Someone had poked around the unit and took a couple of jars filled with $1,000 in change.
