Business Robbed Near 110th And Cicero, Oak Lawn Residents Alerted

OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn residents living near 110th Street and Cicero Avenue received an Everbridge alert Tuesday evening about a robbery at a business in the area.

The robbery happened around 6 p.m. Three men were seen running from the scene eastbound from Cicero Avenue.

The three were described as male blacks, the first suspect wearing red pants and a white sweatshirt; the second wore a gray/beige jumpsuit; and the third black jeans, black jacket and black shoes.

Oak Lawn police established a perimeter around the neighborhood, but could not locate the suspects.

Division Chief Gerald Vetter, of the Oak Lawn Police Department, said the robbery occurred at a business. More information is forthcoming.

This is the second robbery to occur this month in the 110th Street and Cicero Avenue area. On Dec. 1, a couple was robbed at gunpoint returning to their vehicle in the Stoney Creek Promenade parking lot.
