The Germazing Race is back for its 15th year!

Join us for the 15th Annual Germazing Race 5K Run/Walk & Kids Obstacle Course benefiting St. Germaine School.  Saturday, April 25, 2026 

9:00 AM Start Time!  Kids Obstacle will start at 10:30 AM after 5K awards.

St. Germaine School is located at 9735 S. Kolin, Oak Lawn.  The 5K Run/Walk will start promptly at 9 am on the corner of 98th & Kolin Ave. This is an out-and-back course, and the finish line is also located in this area.  All pre-registered 5K participants will receive a goody bag, long sleeve or short sleeve (your choice) cotton t-shirt if registered by March 30, 2026.

Children PreK - 2nd Grade can sign up for the Kids Dash obstacle course at 10:30am.  Each Kids Dash participant will receive a short sleeve t-shirt if registered by March 30, 2026. 

Runners of the 5K must be registered as a 5K participant- this gets you the "bib" that is worn during the race to indicate you have been registered as a runner. ***If your K-8 Child is participating in the 5k, please register for 5k Run/Walk.  Must be registered by March 30, 2026 to be guaranteed a race shirt.

Registration opens outside of the St. Germaine Activity Center from 7:30 am to 8:45 am. The 5K registration fee on race day is $45.

The Germazing Race is one of our biggest community events of the year AND sponsorships help keep our technology program strong and our students on a one to one device program.  We’re a few weeks away from the March 21st sponsorship deadline and local businesses still have time to get involved! Sponsors receive great visibility through race day signage, event t-shirts worn all year long, social media and more!

Sponsoring takes just a few minutes online…you can even do it while waiting in the parking lot at pick up!
