Carnival Magic Returns To St. Catherine of Alexandria

OAK LAWN, IL -- The always delightful St. Catherine of Alexandria’s parish carnival opens the summer season this weekend, June 6 through June 10. This is one of the friendliest carnivals on the South Side featuring rides, food, entertainment, games and a beer garden.

The parish is offering some dandy prizes including a $5,000 grand prize raffle and other cash payouts, pull-tabs, split-the-pot, paddle games and daily bingo.

There will also be great grub for purchase, including beef and sausage, brats and hot dogs, pizza and corn, hamburgers, chicken wings, waffle fries, Clancy's corned beef and pot roast balls, chicken tenders and DEEP FRIED OREOS. Saturday's special features pulled pork.

Children's activities including face painting and games will be on tap in the Alexandria Center.
$25 buys you unlimited rides for the day. St. Catherine's is located at 10621 S. Kedvale Ave.

• Nick Lynch, 8 to 11:30 p.m.

June 10, Sunday, 2 to 10 p.m.

• Joey Digs and the Dentist, 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
• Sean and Charlie, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
