Celebrate Summer At Hometown Days This Friday And Saturday
Celebrate summer at Hometown Days July 13 and July 14 featuring kids activities, food, beer, rides and live music.

HOMETOWN, IL -- Hometown's party in a parking lot gets underway this weekend, July 13 and July 14, offering music, dancing, food, beer tent, a traveling reptile show and a visit from Paw Patrol and troll characters.
Hometown Days kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday, July 13, with an evening of live music at the Hometown Shopping Plaza, 87th Street and Southwest Highway. The party gets going at 6:30 p.m. with a rousing set from Rev. T. and the Soul Shakers, followed by the PriSSillas at 9:30 p.m. Food and beer are available for purchase.
Saturday is jam packed with activities for the kiddos, including games and rides (spin jammer, slide, Euro bungee, chair swing) starting at noon. Take a selfie with Paw Patrol and some visiting trolls from 1 to 2:30 p.m. during the character meet-and-greet. Then, stick around for the reptile show from 3 to 4 p.m.

Rolling video games come out from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., featuring six different systems that can accommodate 24 players at one time. There is also the prerequisite face painting, bouncy houses, balloon art and a DJ.
