Chicago-Area Catholic Cemeteries Plan Memorial Day Field Masses
Listing of field Masses at Chicago-area Catholic cemeteries for Memorial Day, May 27, 2019.

CHICAGO, IL — Auxiliary bishops and priests from the Archdiocese of Chicago will observe Memorial Day with Field Masses across the Chicago region on Monday, May 27. Active military and veterans will also be asked to come forward for a special blessing followed by the playing of Taps. Archbishop Blase J. Cupich will not be joining observances this year due to previous commitments.
The annual Memorial Day remembrance was established by the Catholic Cemetery Conference to honor the men and women of the armed forces who died while serving, as well as active military and veterans. This year, Chicagoland Catholic cemeteries continue their participation in the national program, "Serving God and Country: A Memorial Day Salute to Our Heroes."
Field Masses will take place at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 27, unless noted:
