Chicago Pet Show Offers Family Fun at Oak Lawn Pavilion
The Chicago Pet Show features presentations, pet experts, vendors and rescue organizations at the Oak Lawn Pavilion, April 28 and April 29.

OAK LAWN, IL -- Bring your pet-loving friends, kids and grandkids to the Chicago Pet Show this weekend, April 28 and 29. Meet all kinds of critters at the Oak Lawn Pavilion, 9401 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Lawn. The show runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., both days.
Over 100 pet-related companies, petting areas and opportunities to see face to face everything pet related are featured. The Chicago Pet Show offers fun, education and the chance to help homeless rescued animals. On tap for the weekend are world renowned reptile expert Jim Nesci with his interactive reptile presentation, Crosstown Exotics traveling reptile and bug show, dog training for kids, magicians and NWI Chinchillas, raptors, caged birds and a whole lot more.
Attorney Gwendolyn Sterk will discuss the Illinois Pet Custody Law. Affordable pet meds will be available with a vet’s prescription. Rescues, shelters and humane societies will also be on hand with some four-legged friends looking for forever homes, or, ask about volunteering and fostering a homeless pet.

Admission is free for kids under 18 and seniors over 65. Adult tickets are $7 and good for the entire weekend. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
