Man's Child Porn Had Children Under 13 On It: Prosecutor
Prosecutor said Chicago Ridge man deleted photo library on home computer when FBI showed up at door.
CHICAGO RIDGE, IL -- A Chicago Ridge man arrested on child poronography possession charges after a year-long FBI investigation. Many of the images found included young girls under the age of 13, prosecutors said Thursday in court.
George Calvillo, 22, of Chicago Ridge, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a charge of possession of child pornography. More charges may be forthcoming, the prosecutor said.
According to the charges, the FBI was conducting an undercover investigation of a website called PTHC, also known as “pre-teen hardcore,” which engages in the production, design and advertising of child pornography.. Almost a year later, in January 2016, the FBI and local law enforcement went to Calvillo’s home in Chicago Ridge, where he agreed to a consensual interview.

During the interview, the prosecutor said that Calvillo gave the FBI permission to search his desktop computer in his bedroom. Forensic analysis revealed 15 videos depicting and 75 photos containing pornographic issues of children under 13 engaged in sex acts with adults or in lewd poses in the nude or partially clothed.
Some images and videos included images of girls over the age of 13, but still minors, according to a reading of the charges. Calvillo allegedly admitted that he was the only person who had access to the computer in the household. The prosecutor said he had also deleted the entire photo library on his computer when the FBI and police were at the door.

In addition, Calvillo’s mother also gave a written statement that she did not access her son’s computer. The computer underwent analysis at the Chicago Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory. The prosecutor said that Calvillo’s search history on his computer also included the phrase “PTHC.” Calvillo was taken into custody on Thursday.
The assistant public defender told the judge that Calvillo has three part-time jobs at Home Depot, AllState Arena and the Tinley Park Amphitheater. He it also takes care of his disabled mother. She said his family could post $2,000 bond.
“It took the state a long time reading through the allegations. There are no allegations that he’s participating in these fantasies? He’s not in any of the videos or pictures? There are no allegations of him trying to lure children,” Judge Felice asked the prosecutor, before setting bail.
Calvillo has no prior criminal background. The prosecutor asked for special conditions of bail, that Calvillo not be allowed to be with children under age 18.
The judge also added conditions, telling Calvillo to stay away from schools and playgrounds.
“Do you live near a school,” Judge Felice asked.
“I live across the street from a park,” Calvillo said.
“I’ll make an exception but you just keep walking past it,” the judge said.
Judge Felice also reiterated special conditions that Calvillo be prohibited from using the Internet, computers and cellphones with cameras and the Internet.
“For how long,” Calvillo asked/
“For as long as I say,” Judge Felice said. “If you don’t want to go along I’m going to raise your bail.”
Bail was set at $20,000. Calvillo’s next hearing is scheduled for Nov. 21. Judge Felice also suggested that if Calvillo has a problem, he should consider counseling.
