Chicago Ridge Teen Slain In Hazel Crest
William Talliaferro, 17, was shot in the right eye early Saturday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.
HAZEL CREST, IL — A Chicago Ridge teen died by gun violence early Saturday morning in Hazel Crest, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.
William Talliaferro, 17, was shot near West 173rd Street and Kedzie Avenue in Hazel Crest. The teen was pronounced dead at Advocate Aurora Christ Medical Center at 3:11 a.m.
The medical examiner said the teen was shot in the right eye and ruled the death a homicide. Talliaferro lived in the 10500 block of Parkside in Chicago Ridge.

Hazel Crest police have not released additional information and could not be reached for comment.
