The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn Celebrates Mother’s Day
The museum will be celebrating Mother's Day with their annual "Gardening with Grandpa Andy" activity on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn will be celebrating Mother’s Day with their annual “Gardening with Grandpa Andy” activity on Saturday, May 11th from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Children will be getting their hands dirty as they plant flowers into a pot with help from Grandpa Andy. After watering their flowers, children can decorate their flower pot and take it home to give to someone special for Mother’s Day.
The sponsors of this activity include Woldhuis Sunrise Gardens, Carlin Horticultural Supply in Joliet, Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Romeoville, and Big R and Menards of Homer Glen.

All museum visitors are welcome to participate in this activity at no extra charge. The museum will also be open on Mother’s Day from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
