The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn will be hosting a “May the 4th be With You” themed Casino Night fundraiser at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park on Saturday, May 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

This event will feature entertainment-only table games like roulette, black jack, and craps as well as a buffet and open bar. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume as there will be a prize awarded for best costume. There will also be mobile silent auction bidding this year and bidding for some items will open prior to the event date.

The money raised will go toward supporting multiple museum initiatives such as the Museums for All program, the Blue Star Program for military families and the museum’s annual Easter Egg Hunt for children with disabilities. Additionally, the funds will allow for the museum to continually purchase new items such as costumes, stuffed animals for the vet area and supplies for the art room.
