OAK LAWN, IL—Community High School District 218 will host a meeting for parents of students with disabilities who attend private or home schools on Tuesday, April 28. The meeting will start at 9 a.m. at the CHSD 218 Administrative Center, 10701 S. Kilpatrick Ave., Oak Lawn.

Special education staff will discuss the district’s plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend private schools or home schools within the district boundaries during the 2026-2027 school year.

Any parent of a home-schooled or private school student who has been or may be identified with a disability and lives within the district boundaries is encouraged to attend. Dist. 218 includes Richards (Oak Lawn), Shepard (Palos Heights) and Eisenhower (Blue Island) high schools.
