Cocaine Sale To 'Confidential Informant' Leads To Arrest: Police
A Chicago Ridge woman faces drug charges after prosecutors say she sold cocaine to a confidential informant.

CHICAGO RIDGE, IL — A Chicago Ridge woman was arrested after prosecutors said she sold cocaine to a confidential informant. Celia Rios, 26, appeared before Cook County Judge Terry Gallagher on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
According to the charge, Chicago Ridge police worked with a confidential informant to set up a drug buy with Rios. The informant agreed to meet Rios at 111th Street and Natchez Avenue in Worth to buy cocaine, prosecutors said.
Around 6:41 p.m. Feb. 23, Rios arrived at the meeting spot. Prosecutors said that officers watched Rios exchange 1.5 grams of cocaine for $200. A few blocks away, police pulled over the car Rios was riding in. According to prosecutors, Rios, who was the front seat passenger, told officers it was "all her thing" and that the driver wasn't involved.
