The graffiti included threats to Oak Lawn police, swastikas and double lightning "SS" bolts commonly used by neo-Nazis, police said.

OAK LAWN, IL -- White supremacist graffiti, including threats made to Oak Lawn police, were found scrawled on village property, police reports said.
The Oak Lawn Water Department notified police on Nov. 14 of threats found on an electrical generator box on the south end of the former Kmart property at 4099 W. 95th St., including “f cops” and “OLPD die.” A backwards swastika and double SS lightning bolts, commonly used by white supremacists and neo-Nazis.
Graffiti was also found on a second electrical box, including such phrases “sleep here,” and the letter “a” inside a circle, a symbol often used by the anarchist movement. The graffiti was written with a paint marker and/or chalk. The report said it was easy to clean off.
