Birdies Sports Bar & Grill was packed Tuesday evening for Park Lawn's latest Crown the King drawing, as supporters gathered for another night of food, fun and fundraising benefiting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The excitement continues after J.H. (XXX-XXX-2860) had the winning ticket pulled and selected Card #4, revealing the 8 of Clubs.

J.H. wins 24 tickets into the next Crown the King drawing, but the King of Spades remains hidden.

That means it's another ROLLOVER, with the jackpot now at $12,290+ and growing.

Next Drawing Will Be September 1

Crown the King participants should note an important change to the regular Tuesday schedule.

There will be no Crown the King drawing on Tuesday, August 25. Park Lawn will instead be participating in Developmental Disabilities Awareness Night with the Chicago White Sox.

Crown the King will return to Birdies Tuesday, September 1 at 7 p.m.

The extra week means even more time for the jackpot to grow — and more opportunities to get tickets before the next card is selected.

How to Play

Crown the King tickets are:

• $5 for 6 tickets
• $10 for 12 tickets
• $20 for 24 tickets

Tickets are available at Birdies Sports Bar & Grill and Park Lawn – Oak Lawn (Laporte).

If the winning ticket holder selects the King of Spades, they receive 60% of the jackpot if present at the drawing or 50% if not present.

Several other cards also carry special prizes, including a $250 prize for finding the Joker, Birdies gift cards, a free entrée, a Birdies T-shirt and a free round of golf.
