Customer Gets Grabby With Massage Therapist: Cops
Police said customer grabbed massage therapist's thigh during session.

An Oak Lawn man was charged with battery after he inappropriately touched a massage therapist during an appointment, reports said.
Oak Lawn police responded to a massage therapy center around 9:14 p.m. May 23 in the 11000 block of South Cicero Avenue.
The therapist told police she was giving a massage to a customer, later identified as Joseph Muthana, 53, when he grabbed her thigh and pulled her toward her toward the massage bench, police said.

According to the report, Muthana said, “Come closer, I want to feel the sensation.”
The massage therapist immediately ended the session. Muthana was told to leave and not to return, police said.

Officers said the massage therapist seemed visibly shaken and wished to sign a complaint.
Police went to Muthana’s home, who allegedly denied the incident. Muthana told police that he had asked for a different therapist and was asked to leave. He was not sure why.
He also was not sure why he was told never to return, reports said.
Officers said they found the massage therapist’s story more plausible. Muthana was taken into custody for battery of “an insulting or provoking nature” was taken to the Oak Lawn police station.
There, police said Muthan made unsolicited statements about “what am I going to tell my family.”
Muthana was charged with misdemeanor battery. He has a court hearing on June 14 in Bridgeview.
