D218 curriculum director wins Administrator of the Year
Follows IT Program of the Year in 2015
Frank LaMantia, the Curriculum Director for Career and Technical Education for District 218, has been named the Administrator of the Year Award from the Illinois Association for Career and Technical Education.
This follows a pair of prestigious honors LaMantia has won in recent years. Last fall the national Association for Career and Technical Education chose District 218 for a site visit.

In 2015, under his leadership, District 218 won Industrial Technology Program of the Year for the State of Illinois.
"Advancing Career and Technical Education is a true team effort. I would like to share the IACTE recognition with the CTE staff and everyone involved in providing 218 students with quality CTE programs. I am fortunate and grateful to work in a district that supports CTE," he said.
