Dick's Sporting Goods Marks Grand Opening At Chicago Ridge Mall

CHICAGO RIDGE, IL — Dick’s Sporting Goods will celebrate its grand opening at Chicago Ridge Mall, 98th Street and Ridgeland Avenue, this weekend, with a chance to win a grand prize of $1,000. Get a preview of the store from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5.

The big box sporting goods retailer will cut the ribbon at 9:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6, with sales offered all weekend Saturday, Aug. 7, and Sunday, Aug. 8.

The new Dick’s location will offer top-of-the-line in-store services and exclusive offerings in apparel, footwear and equipment from the company’s own vertical brands, such as DSG, VRST, Tommy Armour, CALIA by Carrie Underwood, Quest and Fitness Gear, along with popular national vendors like Nike, adidas, YETI, The North Face, Callaway and TaylorMade.

The 50,000-square-foot store will be located on the lower level of the former Carson's store, which closed in 2018. Dick's offers an extensive assortment of authentic, high-quality sports equipment, apparel, footwear and accessories.

Throughout the weekend, Dick’s is offering a coupon where shoppers can get $10 off of purchases of $25 or more. Stop by the store for a chance to win more great prizes, including a $1,000 grand prize.

Grand Opening store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
