SBA Makes Low Interest Loans Available To Residents Affected By Storms
The U.S. Small Business Administration will host a disaster outreach center June 15-June 26 at the Oak Lawn Library for storm relief.

OAK LAWN, IL—Representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will be hosting a “Disaster Loan Outreach Center” from June 15 to June 26 at the Oak Lawn Public Library, 9427 S. Raymond.
SBA approved a disaster declaration, making low-interest disaster loans available to eligible residents impacted by the storms. You don’t have to be an Oak Lawn resident to stop by the outreach center.
Representatives from the SBA will be available to answer questions about disaster assistance, explain loan eligibility and application requirements, and assist residents with completing applications.

Staff from Cook County’s Department of Emergency Management and Regional Security will also be on site on opening day—Monday, June 15—to help residents coordinate recovery-related needs and connect with SBA staff.
Damage loan applications must be submitted by Aug. 10. The deadline to apply for economic injury loans is March 10, 2027.
