Dist. 229 Seeks Community Input In OLCHS Strategic Plan
Community stakeholders are invited to take a survey setting the future course of Oak Lawn Community High School from Oct. 21-Nov. 8.

OAK LAWN, IL — As part of the Strategic Planning process launched in August, Oak Lawn Community High School District 229 is conducting a district-wide survey from Oct. 21 through Nov. 8.
The survey is open to employees, parents, students, and community members
without students in the district. The entire community’s involvement is essential to
developing a shared vision and priorities for the future.
“Successful education depends on the commitment of our entire community, and we’re
thrilled to engage in this inclusive Strategic Planning process that invites input from all
our stakeholders,” said D229 Supt. Dr. Shahe Bagdasarian “I encourage our
community to take advantage of this opportunity to inform the future direction of our
schools.”

The Strategic Plan Survey link will be available on the Dist. 220 website. It will offer
community members an opportunity to answer questions about their perceptions of the
schools and their vision for the future of their community of D229 schools. The link will take
participants to a third-party website; all responses will remain anonymous.
Hazard, Young, Attea, and Associates (HYA), an independent research firm, is
conducting the online survey. They will analyze responses and prepare a Strategic Plan
report for the district to share with the community. The survey report will be posted on
the D229 website on the Strategic Planning Process page.
