"Doctor Y," Dr. YERKES, Is Running for US Congress in IL03

Dear Residents of Oak Lawn,

I am "Doctor Y," Dr. YERKES.

As a #WriteInCandidate, Kenneth YERKES, I lost to Congressman Dan Lipinski on November 6th, 2018, in the "2018 MidTerm Elections." I went over to my Congressman's office in Oak Lawn, and later in Orland Park, to extend my congratulations, delivering my congratulations in writing, as well as with a couple of his staff members. I hope he returns my call.

As a self-funded #WriteInCandidate, I did not want to receive any money from outside sources, so I self funded my campaign, trying to limit myself to $777.

I will write a more detailed Thank You Article to all who voted for me, which was over 1000 voters, and to those who supported me by volunteering their time, and giving me their words of encouragement. I will always appreciate your kind words.

The rest of this article will remain unchanged for the most part, so you, who do not know me, will get an idea of "Who I am?" and "What I am about?"

God Willing, I will be on the Republican Primary Ballot in 2020, and I will be seeking the votes of Liberals, Libertarians, as well as Republicans. I was born a Democrat, and I would be a Democrat Today, if the Democrat Party today was more like #JFK, who would be a Moderate Republican today, just like me.

The Democrat Party is split in this District, into "Liberals" and Extreme Left Socialists."

#Leftists like Marie Newman, who advocate for the killing of innocent developing human beings, will not vote for me; however, "Liberals will vote for me." More on this in my next article. For now, December 13, 2018, I will focus on Christmas with my family.

I have been known as "Doctor Y" for over 40 years, ever since 1978. It was a "Nickname" that I was given while I attended a Professional School at which I attained a Doctorate Degree.

I am a small business owner of 36 years, worked for 31 years, an average 65 hour workweek, having two locations for many of those years, in Chicago, La Grange, and in Oak Lawn. I reduced my workload to one office, Oak Lawn Dental LLC recently, and went down to a 55 hour workweek.

My dad, David Yerkes Sr., along with my departed mom, are my "heroes." My dad, who is a 90 years old plumber, plumbing contractor, "YERKES PLUMBING," located in Chicago, currently has dropped down to a 50 hour workweek.

I come from a BIG FAMILY, The YERKES Family.

I am very happily married to a wonderful and loving wife, and we are blessed with loving children, and a son-in-law. I have been blessed with having a beautiful family, and I cherish God, Family, and Friends. I am trying to discern what God wants me to do with the rest of my life.

I was born in Chicago, raised in Palos Park, attended St. Michael Grammar School, Marist High School, Loyola University of Chicago, Loyola Dental School, and St. Xavier University, where I earned an additional Professional Degree as a High School Teacher.

I have a Doctorate in Dentistry, a Master's Degree in Education, an Illinois License in Both Professions, and I am a Singer/Songwriter who wrote, copyright and recorded, and a couple of songs, "Angel My Love," and

I just recently re-recorded "Angel My Love," a love song that I started writing for my wife on or around Valentines Day, 2016. I hope to have "Angel My Love" released and hopefully will be on iTunes and CDBaby sometime in 2018. I may decide to also have "Angel My Love" uploaded to YouTube, possibly in 2019.

Currently, I am working full time as a dentist, doing volunteer work for a number of charitable organizations, most notably, Chicago Dental Society Foundation, where I volunteer, along with some of my staff, to do complimentary dental work for patients who do not have the financial resources to pay for dentistry and are financially poor. Another favorite of my volunteer organizations is St. Gerald's St. Vincent de Paul, which help the poor of our community.

Before I leave, I want to make a positive difference in Our World. I am running for United States Congress, from Illinois Congressional District 3, #IL03, for all of the right reasons. It's a Calling. I was called to be a Christian, marry my best friend forever, become a dentist, high school teacher, singer-songwriter, and now a politician.

#PeopleAndPrinciplesOverMoneyAndPower is my campaign slogan.

Among so many other things, We need to #ExpandTheMiddleClass, Stop #IllegalImmigration, Repeal And Replace #Obamacare, Limit the power of the Presidency, by limiting the number of Executive Orders and Presidential Memoranda. The overuse of Executive Orders and Presidential Memoranda was started by Former President Obama. President Donald Trump, despite his lack of popularity and the unjust hate by Leftists, has done a good job as Our President. #Leftists or #DemocratSocialists are attempting to destroy the Middle Class.

#MiddleClassIsAmerica, and the plight of the Middle Class is the plight of America. "In America, and in Illinois, #WeThePeopleOfIllinois are sick of being #TheMostEconomicallyDysfunctionalStateInTheUnion.

"We will be judged not only by what we do, but also by what we fail to do."

And with the passage of #HB40, which denies freedom to innocent developing human beings, and which takes our #MiddleClass tax money to fund the Killing of #InnocentDevelopingHumanBeings, #Illinois, is now, #IllinoisTheStateOfDisgrace.

There is a big difference between #Leftists or #DemocratSocialists and #Liberals. Liberals will vote for me,

#LiberalsWillVoteForDrYerkes; Leftists will not. #RealRepublicans will vote for me.

"A Vote for YERKES is a Vote For Life."

#WeThePeopleOfIllinois need to #DrainTheSwamp in Springfield, In Washington D.C., and then, go after the Rats. #NoMoreCorruption, #NoMoreMadigan, #NoMoreLipinski, even though Congressman Dan Lipinski is a good guy, he's just been in politics too long. I strongly believe in #TermLimits for all political offices. When one individual politician occupies an office for a long time, stagnation occurs, money comes in, an "Insider Buddy System"almost always develops, which only an "Outsider" will bring up to the attention of the electorate. If I ever become elected, I will #TermLimit myself to two terms, or four years. I am not saying everyone should be limited to four years in the United States House of Representatives; however, there should be term limits of 4, 6, or 8 years maximum. In my opinion, Government should seek to find new people for all offices, and no one in the House of Representatives should serve longer than a President of the United States is only allowed to serve. Again, I, Dr. Yerkes, if ever elected, will serve no more than two terms in any political office.

#WeThePeopleOfIllinois need true Leaders who will stand up against Corruption, and Career Politicians who have accumulated Vast Amounts of Money and Power.
