Donate Blood Saturday With Congresswoman Newman
U.S. Rep. Marie Newman will join Mayor Terry Vorderer is hosting a blood drive Saturday, July 24, at Trinity Evangelical Church in Oak Lawn.
OAK LAWN, IL — Donate blood with Congresswoman Marie Newman (IL-03) and Mayor Terry Vorderer Saturday, July 24, in Oak Lawn. Appointments are available from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9701 S. Brandt Ave., Oak Lawn (97th Street and Brandt Avenue).
If you are eligible to give blood or know someone else who is, sign up at Vitalant by clicking Make An Appointment, then entering group code 026H. There are many slots still available.
Blood of all types is critically needed. While donors across the country have rolled up a sleeve to give this summer, there continues to experience a severe blood shortage. Donors are needed now to ensure blood is available for patients in need of lifesaving care this month.
