Dorothy O'Neil, Mother Of Oak Lawn Village Clerk, Dies

Visitation and funeral services are set for Dorothy O'Neil, a longtime Oak Lawn resident and mother of Village Clerk Jane Quinlan.

OAK LAWN, IL - Dorothy L. O'Neil, mother of Oak Lawn Village Clerk Jane Quinlan, died last week. She was 87.

A visitation will take place Monday from 4-9 p.m. at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 10621 S. Kedvale Ave. Family and friends will gather Tuesday at St. Catherine for Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

O'Neil was treasurer at St. Catherine and a 1948 alumna of Mercy High School in Chicago.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish would be most appreciated.

O'Neil (nee Murphy) leaves behind three children, Jane (Walter III) Quinlan, John (Janet) O’Neil and Joan (Robert Ipsen) O’Neil, according to an obituary from Walter Quinlan Funeral Home.
