Driver Sought In Bridgeview Hit-And-Run

Bridgeview police are seeking information about a hit-and-run accident that left a pedestrian severely injuried.

BRIDGEVIEW, IL — Police are seeking information about a hit-and-run accident on June 4 that left a pedestrian with severe injuries. The Bridgeview Police Department and the Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team are investigating.

Around 9:15 p.m. June 4, police and paramedics responded to a call of a pedestrian who had just been struck by a vehicle in the 7600 block of South Harlem Avenue. The severely injured man was transported to an area hospital.

Witnesses told officers the vehicle that hit the vehicle which struck the pedestrian had left the scene before police arrived. The vehicle is believed to be dark in color, with fresh damage. Police are unsure of the vehicle's make or model.
