
A man was arrested after he punched a Redbox kiosk while intoxicated on Halloween, prosecutors said in court Friday.
Christopher Quevedo, 33, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a charge of criminal damage to property.
According to the charges, employees at the Walmart Supercenter, 7050 S. Cicero Ave., Bedford Park, saw Quevedo angrily punch the Redbox kiosk around 6:46 p.m. Oct. 31.

Employees were able to detain Quevedo and get his information. A Redbox representative came to store on Nov. 2 to inspect the damage.
The Redbox representative filed a report with Bedford Park police for a broken screen valued at $700, prosecutors said.

Quevedo was arrested and charged. Walmart employees alleged that Quevedo appeared to be intoxicated at the time of the incident.
“Didn’t he get his DVD?” Judge Felice asked.
Bail was set at $10,000. The judge also ordered Quevedo to stay away from Redbox.
Quevedo is due back in court in Bridgeview on Dec. 1.
