Eisenhower senior: All-State in two sports in one season

Torres wins state honors in football and soccer

Eisenhower High School proudly announced that senior Luis Torres on earning all-state honors in both football and soccer. He’s the first Eisenhower student in memory to earn all-state
in two sports; to do so in the same season truly sets him apart.

His coaches not surprisingly find his work ethic and attitude the key elements in his success.

“Luis is a tremendous student – athlete and awesome kid! His commitment, dedication and passion for both sports is unmatched. Luis is an amazing athlete in both soccer and football. He is a great leader and teammate to his peers,” said football coach Travis Moore.

“Luis has earned every accolade and recognition playing soccer his entire high school career. As a freshman, Luis earned a spot on the varsity and worked hard to improve not only himself but his teammates as well. His work ethic is unbelievable but more importantly his leadership towards his teammates was extraordinary,” said soccer coach Iran Rodriguez.
