
Eisenhower High School in Blue Island proudly announces that 20 members of the 2025 senior class have been named Illinois State Scholars by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission.
Roughly 10 percent of the state’s high school seniors earn this recognition each year. In order to earn Illinois State Scholar honors, students must rank in the top half of their graduating class and score in the 95th percentile of the ACT or SAT.
Eisenhower seniors named Illinois State Scholars this year are Angelica Andres, Xander Barton, Tahir Brown, Jaqueline Cabrera, Silva Castaneda, Esmeralda Delgado Mendoza, Ava Dore, Fernando Flores, Leah Madison, Alina Marmolejo, Sergio Mauricio, John Medina, Melina Montoya, Zainab Oyekunle, Alyssa Prince, Jezenya Ramirez, Christopher Reyes, Miguel Salgado, Jazmine Silva-Castro, and Aaron Smith.
