Eisenhower show choir wins first place at Six Flags

Express, the show choir from Eisenhower High School, won Best Show Choir at the Six Flags Music in the Parks competition on Saturday, May 14.

Earlier on Saturday, Express won first place in the choir competition at Vernon Hills High School. Express earned straight Superior ratings, the highest possible.

Finally, senior Jackson Blouin won the award for Best Overall Soloist.

This spring Express completed the most successful competitive season in the program’s rich history, winning Grand Champion honors, the top overall prize, at the Kankakee show choir festival, Manteno Main Event, and Chesterton Trojan Classic.

This was the first time in the program’s rich history that Express won first place at every competition.
